Interlaced Ls in blue enclosing date letter ‘u’ for 1773, painter’s mark for François Binet and with gilder’s mark for Chauvaux l’aîné and Vandé père, incised ‘pg’mark on the stand and ‘jd’ on the bowl.

Decorated on a blue (beau bleu) ground with particularly opulent baskets of flowers within garlands, joined by gilt laurel branches.
