Painter’s mark for Jean-Louis Morin

The tray pierced with Vitruvian scrolls interspersed with blue harebells.

Dame Rosalind Savill notes in her catalogue of the Sèvres porcelain in The Wallace Collection that the Vitruvian scroll and harebell pattern is one of the earliest neo-classical motifs at Sèvres and that Svend Eriksen has suggested Falconet as the designer.
