A Saint-Cloud Kakiemon Pot a Fard

Decorated with birds and branches emerging from banded hedges in a loose interpretation of the Kakiemon style. Another almost identical example is in the Musée National Adrien Dubouché, Limoges (ADL 1276), illustrated in The Saint-Cloud Manufactory ca. 1690-1766, the Bard Graduate Centre, New York, (1999) No.121, p125.
Condition – Long fine crack to body.
